Visitor and admission rules

1. Admission and ticket validity

Admission requires a valid, unused ticket for the correct day and area, except for children aged 0–6 under the rule below. Each barcode or QR code is valid once; for duplicate codes, normally only the first successful scan enters.

Non-personalised tickets may be privately transferred. A commercially copied or manipulated ticket is invalid. Age, identity or order evidence may be requested where needed for verification.

2. Children, concert and VIP

Children aged 0–6 need no ticket and enter the festival free with a responsible adult. They may accompany parents or guardians who hold concert tickets into the concert area.

Concert entry remains subject to capacity, safety, venue rules and youth protection. VIP is 12+ only. From age 7, the appropriate category is required and proof of age should be carried.

3. Security and admission checks

Bag, person, age and ticket checks may be carried out. Visitors must follow proportionate instructions from event, venue, security, medical and rescue personnel.

Entry may be refused for a concrete danger, apparent manipulation, severe intoxication, aggressive behaviour or serious breach. Checks are conducted without discrimination and with respect for personal rights.

4. Prohibited items

The venue or security lead may prohibit further items where a specific risk or binding venue rule requires it. Additions will be communicated in advance or clearly at entry where possible.

• Outside drinks including water
• Outside food unless an express exception applies
• Perfume bottles and liquids that cannot be safely checked
• Weapons, weapon-like or otherwise dangerous items
• Pyrotechnics, fireworks, flammable or explosive substances
• Illegal substances or prohibited property
• Animals except recognised assistance dogs

5. Baby and medically necessary supplies

Baby food and medically necessary food or liquids are admitted after a plausible explanation and security inspection. This can include medically required water; ordinary outside drinking water remains prohibited.

Necessary medication and medical aids may be carried. Guests with special needs are encouraged to contact the team in advance so entry and storage can be arranged.

6. Assistance dogs and accessibility

Pets and dogs are generally prohibited. Recognised assistance dogs are allowed. Suitable evidence may be requested where legally permitted and necessary to distinguish the exception.

7. Leaving and re-entry

Same-day re-entry is possible only if the visitor presents both the valid ticket and the stamp obtained at exit. The stamp must be requested before leaving.

Without either item re-entry may be refused. Re-entry is for the same day only and is subject again to safety, capacity and area controls.

8. Conduct, venue rights and commercial activity

Violence, threats, harassment, discrimination, dangerous conduct and serious interference with other guests are not tolerated. Emergency routes must remain clear. Damage, contamination or misuse may lead to removal and claims.

Commercial sales, advertising distribution, collections, political or commercial actions and professional recording require prior permission. A proportionate removal for a serious attributable breach may occur without refund where lawful.

9. Photography and filming on site

Photography and filming take place for reporting, promotion and long-term festival documentation. Additional notices appear at entrances. Consent is normally obtained for targeted portraits and interviews.
